German Language Week
Organized by the Embassies of Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland - in cooperation with its consulates and cultural partners in Brazil, the German Language Week aims to offer the opportunity to get to know and awaken interest in the German language, the most widely spoken language in Europe. For 5 years, the Polyglot Institute has been participating and promoting activities for the internal and external public at the German Language Week, meetings such as the Austrian Kaffeetrinken and activities such as the German Language Writing Contest.
Polyglot Music Festival 06/19
Music is the expression that crosses peoples in its most diverse forms. Its language is universal and is performed by rhythm, harmony, melody and also by language. They mix and reach unique and sometimes indescribable meanings. To celebrate it and experience it in its plurality, we held the Polyglot Music Festival. We gathered teachers, students, friends and partners for an evening with music, choir, ciranda, shows and other musical experiences.
Open Class: Culture and Arabic Language (08/18)
At the Open Arabic Class, in addition to a preview of the course at the Polyglot Institute, our students and the external public had the chance to learn a little about Arabic culture and language with Professor Abdulla Lutfalla, a native of Bahrain.




Lecture South Korea: Life, History and Language (08/18)
The South Korea Lecture 안녕! Life, History and Language was given by Gabriela Santana, former Korean Global Scholarship fellow (2012), Korean Language Student by Keimyung University (2014) and Master in Media by Chungnam National University (2016). At the meeting, we learned some peculiarities of Korean culture, learned about the speaker's trajectory to South Korea and talked about Gabriela's experience in the eastern country.
MAY 18 (05/18)
And now? was an event held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of May 68, the French May. The event was attended by groups such as Radical Criticism, Kilofé Network, MNU, MST, Pachamama Nation, Shamaia Ecological House Project, Tremembé People and Movida Anarcopunk. With a 12-hour program, the event was filled with conversations with the exchange of ideas and proposals for resistance and alternatives, capoeira, interventions, film screenings, fairs, food and lots of music.




Conversation circle, Art and Culture for Mental Health (05/19)
The Wheel of Conversation, art and culture for Mental Health was an event held in partnership with Coletivo THERI. With the objective of expanding the debate and access to knowledge about mental health, the meeting contributed to the Ceará Anti-Asylum Week. The movement, held at Praça Joaquim Távora, brought together health professionals, artists, local residents, students, activists and workers from the Joaquim Távora market.
